Local Bonduel Woman’s Green Thumb Yields 800+ Perennials
Lisa Koepp from rural Bonduel doesn’t have a shortage of time during spring. Not only does she help on the family farm near Leeman, she also has a new hobby—perennials (and lots of them).
It all started three short years ago when she decided to plant a few perennial gardens at her home. But, it doesn’t stop there. Fast forward a few years and she now has over 800 plants.
Due to the sheer volume of plants, Lisa decided to host a perennial sale. Since then, it’s become an annual event. Locals and passerbys stop in to hand-select and purchase perennials to beautify their lawns and gardens.
Lisa spends an abundance of time caring for the plants, which includes thinning, trimming, and ensuring proper nourishment. Her son William even joins in on the fun by growing and selling his very own tomato plants.
