Project Manager Gail Kell shared a brief overview of the Initiative, including a summary of our preventive health services, contact information for the Outreach Health Coordinator serving in Marathon County, and the impact RHI’s having on the health of Marathon County’s agricultural community.

Additionally, local Marathon County ag producer and RHI Steering Committee Co-Chair Misty Vogel emphasized the value of maintaining health – for both farmers and animals – on the farm. She compared services provided by Rural Health Initiative for farmers to herd health for animals. She encouraged fellow farmers to of take care of their personal health by emphasizing its value.
